MRX Technologies has developed an advanced and unique Asset Monitoring Vehicle as the platform for a comprehensive range of condition monitoring systems for railway track and associated trackside infrastructure. The vehicle is based on a production heavy-duty truck to provide a self-transporting diesel railcar that provides a stable and comfortable operating environment for track inspection personnel.

The vehicle is designed to provide the axle loading required to allow the vehicle to activate the track circuits for road-crossing protection and to operate under Centralised Train Control.

The high speed AMV has facilities for the maintenance personnel and provides work space for up to eight personnel.

The vehicle has 3 distinct modes of operation:

• On-Road Operating Mode
• Transition Operating Mode
•  On Rail Operating Mode
